Es ist schon spannend, was mir jetzt auffällt, wenn ich jetzt alte Fotos ansehe. Als dieses Foto entstanden ist wusste ich noch nichts von Belichtungszeit und Blende. Auch die "Rule of thirds", die ich gestern Abend im Fotokurs gelernt habe, war mir damals gänzlich unbekannt.

Entstanden ist dieses Bild im Mai 2011, als Jan und ich Urlaub in der Heimat gemacht haben. Damals haben wir unsere Fahrräder mitgenommen und sind an der Nordsee und der Elbmündung entlang geradelt. Bei Cuxhaven konnten wir dann diese Szene beobachten: die traditionellen von Pferden gezogenen Wattwagen, die Touristen bei Ebbe auf die 15km vorgelagerte Insel Neuwerk bringen. 

It's very interesting to have a look at my old pictures again, now that I take photography classes. When I took this picture I didn't know anything about shutter speed and aperture. And of course I had never heard about the "Rule of thirds" until yesterday evening.

This picture was taken in May 2011 when Jan and myself were on vacation in Northern Germany at my in-laws. We had our bicycles with us and cycled along the North Sea and along the estuary of river Elbe. Near Cuxhaven we could observe this scene: the traditional horse-drawn carriages bringing tourists at low tide to the 15km offshore island Neuwerk.
